Charlotte Scott
Charlotte is a British-born Zambian social development specialist, who served as the First Lady of Zambia from October 2015 to January 2016, and as Second Lady for three years prior to that. Charlotte has had a long career in research, program design and evaluation for development organizations, universities and think-tanks, including the Overseas Development Institute, the Institute for Development Studies, USAID and UNICEF. She has played a leadership role in the development of substantial new policy initiatives in Zambia, notably in the development of social protection, and in conservation. Charlotte wrote the global thematic report on inequality for the UN Secretary General's High-level Panel on Millennium Development goals, and, more recently, a flagship report on child poverty for Save the Children. Charlotte works mainly on the Zayohub and Mwandi projects.
Anne Tudor
Anne is an independent consultant working in the charity sector for the past 3 years specialising in strategic marketing and fundraising for a number of clients, utilizing an extensive knowledge and passion for wildlife and the 'non-profit sector'. Anne has worked in this area, mainly as Marketing Director of the Born Free Foundation, an international wildlife charity, for 26 years. This followed a career in journalism and advertising where she was responsible for a number of high profile corporate and charity accounts, as well as new business, product development and client services. Anne is working on the iLearnabout project.
Kay Smith
Kay is an experienced e-learning and training course designer, teacher, trainer and educational writer with extensive experience in UK and Africa. As Senior Academy Consultant for Mwabu, Kay created and delivered teacher training and train the trainer programmes in Zambia and South Africa, built digital training courses and designed digital conservation education. For iSchool Zambia, she wrote over nine hundred Zambian curriculum lessons and digital resources. She is also the author of twelve creative-writing and spelling books and a complete English tutoring course.
Kay’s knowledge of pedagogy and curriculum development is founded on her career as a UK qualified primary teacher including eight years in schools in Kenya and Tanzania. Her key focus is creating a programme which will inform and support teachers to deliver effective education for conservation and sustainable development.
