New Partner Joins iLearnabout in Kenya
The Mount Kenya Trust, an NGO at the forefront of safeguarding Mount Kenya and its biodiverse ecosystem and promoting the harmonious coexistence between forest, wildlife, and the human population, has added iLearnabout to its conservation education programme, Junior Ranger Programme. The programme delivers conservation concepts to equip children with the knowledge and skills to protect the local and regional environment for future generations, encouraging creativity and innovation.
JRP has reached over 3000 students and targets communities neighbouring the Mount Kenya Forest Reserve. The course modules are delivered through interactive, relatable, and practical approaches while integrating tech and digital literacy.
Susie Weeks, Executive Director of Mount Kenya Trust commented, “It is always an honour to collaborate with organisations like iLearnabout to provide greater learning experiences to students. We are excited to collaborate with iLearnabout to expand our visual course content to deliver conservation education in the Mount Kenya region.”
